Style Monday: Samantha Pleet F/W 2014

I recently discovered the lookbook for Samantha Pleet's Fall/Winter collection - and I am totally in love. The lookbook seems to be inspired by those 'storybook turned dreamy adventure' movies from the 80's. I can't help but think of The Princess Bride and Never Ending Story when I look through these pictures. There is definitely some Narnia in there as well ;) Many lookbooks I tend to find either stale or overly pretentious/unnecessarily provocative. But these whimsical images are very creative, moving, and beautiful.

I can't afford Samantha Pleet unfortunately - but maybe someday I will save up for one of her pieces :) I love supporting young creative women that are trying to do something a little different!
